Intense Gaze is an original broken glass portrait handcrafted by Yasin Uca, created on June 18, 2024. This one-of-one broken glass artwork brings a fictional figure into permanent existence through intentional fracture on laminated safety glass.
Several hundred controlled hammer strikes transform cold glass into a surface uncomfortably alive with tension and presence. This unique glass artwork captures a gaze that refuses to look away — each crack amplifying the weight of a stare that no distance can soften.
The title is the entire story. No softness, no distance — only the weight of a gaze that refuses to look away.
Framed in a 6063 aluminum frame. This handcrafted broken glass portrait has been collected and will never be recreated.
