Commission a work like this
This original has been collected and will never be reproduced. Yasin can create a completely new work from your own photographs, with the same hand-fractured technique.
Lifetime artist care
If the work is damaged in normal use in the years after delivery, Yasin repairs it in person, wherever it hangs. Only travel and accommodation are paid by the collector; natural disasters such as fire or flood, and deliberate damage, are not covered.
Care & display
Laminated safety glass holds together even when cracked, so the work is safe to hang and handle. Hang it where a single directional light — a spot or a window — rakes across the surface; the fractures change as you move.
About the work
Sacred art, re-imagined in fractured light.
Jesus carrying the cross, drawn by Yasin Uca with controlled fractures in laminated safety glass. The black backing gives the scene depth; the cracks give it light.
