Broken Glass Art
Portraits, with their intricate details and demanding nature, stand as rare and exquisite masterpieces that test an artist’s skill and patience.
In real life, people’s hearts can be broken, and we may encounter disappointments and challenges. To represent this, I have created a heart shape by breaking glass. This artwork symbolizes our inner strength and resilience, while also reflecting the hope that broken hearts can be mended. Each shattered piece of glass represents a turning point or a moment of difficulty, while the integrity of the heart emphasizes the power of human nature to heal and recover. This piece brings together the complexities and beauty of life, inviting us to contemplate vulnerability and rebirth.
The work I created in honor of a slain tribal chief in America serves as a tribute and memorial. This artwork is intended to honor the lost cultural heritage and keep his story alive. In the painting, I aimed to capture the strong stance of the tribal chief, along with significant symbols of his life, reflecting his leadership and resilient spirit. This painting serves as a reminder of a leader who fought against injustices, preserving his memory and reminding us of the ongoing struggles for justice and equality.
About Myself
I am a 25-year-old residing in Turkey, and from a young age, I have been driven by curiosity and a deep passion for art. Throughout my life, I have found immense joy in transforming seemingly unattractive objects into works of art. There is something incredibly satisfying about taking something considered unappealing and revealing its hidden beauty.
Recently, I had a breakthrough when I discovered the art of breaking glass to uncover the inherent beauty within aesthetically unpleasing objects. It was during this process of shattering glass that I found a unique way to express my artistic vision. The act of breaking the glass became a powerful metaphor for breaking barriers and revealing the true essence of beauty.
My artistic journey has taught me to appreciate the beauty that exists in unconventional forms and to challenge traditional notions of aesthetics. I believe that art has the ability to transform our perception of the world, allowing us to see the extraordinary within the ordinary.
As I continue to explore and push the boundaries of my artistic endeavors, I am excited to share my unique perspective and creations with the world. Each piece I create carries a story, a reflection of my experiences, and a celebration of the beauty that can be found in unexpected places.
Through my art, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own creativity, to see beyond the surface, and to find beauty in the most unexpected corners of life.

- No – this is not regular glass. I use a special type of safety glass that always remains intact even when smashed. Even when it cracks it will stay together.
- In many ways my glass art is less fragile than a painting. A painting, will fade over time due to light and UV exposure. Whereas my glass sculptures are highly unreactive — you can place them in as much light as you like and they will not alter. Unlike a painting, you can clean them easily.
