Shipping, returns & terms
Everything you need to know before collecting a Cracasso work. For anything else, write to info@cracasso.com or on WhatsApp.
Ready works
Works marked “Available” are finished, framed and ready to ship. Send a request from the artwork page; you will receive a personal reply within 24–48 hours confirming availability, delivery and payment details. Ready works are paid in full by bank transfer (Wise) — there is no deposit. Once payment arrives, a crate is built for the work and it ships within about 2–5 days. Every work arrives framed and ready to hang, with its hanging hardware fitted; the dimensions given always include the frame.
Prefer to pay by card? Ready works and commission deposits can also be paid through Etsy’s checkout on the Cracasso shop on Etsy. Ask for this option in your request and we will prepare a private listing for you.
Commissions
- Design — composition, size and a fixed price are agreed with you first. This stage moves at your pace.
- Deposit — a 40% deposit by bank transfer (Wise) reserves your place in the studio calendar.
- Production — the glass is sourced to size in 2–5 days, and the work is created in 5–10 days as soon as the calendar allows. In total, allow about 2–3 weeks from design approval to dispatch.
- Approval — the finished work is framed, photographed and presented to you.
- Balance — the remaining 60% is paid before the work ships.
Pricing is set by the design — detail, composition and format — not by the square centimetre. Commissions start at $1,200. For commissions, FedEx shipping is not included in the price: it is quoted separately and paid by the buyer. Ready works marked “free worldwide shipping” are shipped at no cost.
Shipping & delivery
Every work travels in a custom wooden crate and is shipped worldwide by FedEx International Express, fully tracked. Delivery typically takes 5–7 business days after dispatch; customs clearance can occasionally add a few days. Import duties, customs fees and local taxes, where they apply, are paid by the buyer.
Built for international travel
Glass is shipped only in crates built for it. The system was developed over four years and more than twenty prototypes:
- A plywood crate made to the size of each work, with reinforced corners and carry handles.
- Foam-lined walls and a foam cushion pressed against the glass, so the work cannot move inside the crate.
- Blue edge protectors around the frame and a sealed protective wrap.
- An impact indicator on the outside of every crate, and “Fragile — handle with care” marking on every side.
- FedEx International Express, tracked door to door.

Damage in transit
Every crate is checked before it leaves the studio. Please look at the crate when it arrives. If a work ever arrives damaged, photograph the crate and the work before unpacking further and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Once the photos of the work and the crate have been reviewed, Yasin makes the work again by hand — the same composition, struck anew, so the fractures are never identical — and it is delivered to your address free of charge. The damaged piece is withdrawn, so the work still exists only once. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Returns
Commissions are made for you and exist once, so they cannot be returned or exchanged. Ready works cannot be returned either, except where consumer law in your country gives you a right of withdrawal. If you have any doubt about size or colour, please contact us before buying; we are happy to send extra photos or a short video. A work damaged in transit is made again, as described above.
Care
Laminated safety glass holds together even when cracked, so the work is safe to hang and handle. Hang it where a single directional light — a spot or a window — rakes across the surface. Dust the glass with a soft dry cloth; avoid spraying liquids directly onto the work.
Lifetime artist care
A Cracasso work stays connected to the studio. If it is damaged in normal use in the years after delivery, Yasin repairs it in person, wherever it hangs. The repair itself is free of charge; only travel and accommodation are paid by the collector.
Lifetime artist care covers repairable damage that occurs in normal use. Damage caused by natural disasters such as fire or flood, and deliberate damage, are not covered.
Certificate of authenticity
Every work is signed and travels with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Seller
Works are sold by Cracasso L.L.C., a company registered in Wyoming, USA. Every work is made in and shipped from the artist’s studio in Turkey. Questions about an order: info@cracasso.com.
